INSTALLATION DINNER

12th Annual EP Turkey Trot
Thank you Edison Park for another terriffic trot! Well over 3600 participants made this the most successful turkey trot to date. Misericordia Heart of Mercy will be the beneficiary of the $45,000 raised through generous sponsors and supporters. Go to the website for pictures, www.epturkeytrot.com. See you next year!
BUY A BRICK - HELP OUR PARKS!
The Edison Park Community Council and the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce have joined together to raise funds for our parks. The Chicago Park District has committed to new windows for the historic Edison Park Field House, new sidewalks and fencing for Monument Park and plans for a new sprinkler area at Olympia Park. The Park District applauds our recent efforts to raise money and awareness regarding the needs of our neighborhood parks. Residents can help further this effort by purchasing a brick paver wihch will be placed in the new walkway for the Edison Park Field House. A 4" x 8" brick can be purchased for $100. This brick will include three lines with eighteen characters per line. An 8" x 8" (or a double brick) can be purchased for $175 with six lines, eighteen characters per line. The money raised will go directly towards improvements made to our parks.
